“When we were first accepted into Love INC’s program, we were staying with various family members and most of our belongings had been in storage for a few months.We struggled financially due to Sherry, myself, not being able to work because of medical reasons and Evan being laid off and injured. We just could not recover.
Evan battles with alcoholism and attended rehab in 2006. I got a full-time job at a hospital while Evan was in rehab. Evan had to find a new job, and a local agency helped him to go to a Vo-tech program to receive his CDL license. He just started driving a dump truck. We have learned to appreciate what we have so much and also to appreciate each other and our roles in our family.
Love INC put us in touch with many people who were able to help us, mainly Tabor. We now have a beautiful rental town home in a wonderful neighborhood, which we never would have been able to be considered for if it were not for the recommendation of Love INC and Tabor.
The Love INC program is so helpful and very much appreciated. Without it, we would not have come this far so fast. It has given us tons of support and a positive influence in our lives.
